Jane Roder – Professional Services Policy

1. Scope of Services

Jane Roder provides professional relationship counselling, intimacy coaching, and personal development services. These services are educational, relational, and supportive in nature and are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, psychological, or legal advice.

Clients are encouraged to seek independent professional advice where appropriate.

2. Client Responsibility & Outcomes

Clients acknowledge that:

Progress depends on active participation and personal responsibility

• No specific outcomes can be guaranteed
• Results vary depending on individual circumstances and mutual commitment

Jane Roder does not guarantee reconciliation, relationship continuation, or specific personal outcomes.

3. Session Structure & Participation

Sessions may be individual or joint, as agreed

• Homework and reflective exercises may be provided to support progress
• Clients are responsible for completing agreed work between sessions
• Sessions may occasionally extend beyond the scheduled time with mutual agreement.

4. Fees & Payment

• Fees are disclosed prior to commencement
• Pre-paid packages are payable upfront in full
• Individual sessions are payable at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed
• All fees are in AUD.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• A minimum of 24 hour notice is required to reschedule or cancel
• Late cancellations or non-attendance may result in the session being forfeited

6. Package Policy & Refunds

Pre-paid packages are generally non-refundable once commenced, as session time is reserved and program design begins immediately.

Refunds or credits may be considered in exceptional circumstances (e.g. severe medical issues) with appropriate documentation.

This policy does not limit or exclude any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

7. Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential, except where disclosure is required by law (e.g. risk of harm to self or others).

8. Professional Boundaries

Services are provided within clear professional and ethical boundaries, with respect, care, and integrity at all times.
